• Alice Leoncini, member of the DAMA collaboration and now a postdoctoral researcher at Dipartimento di Fisica dell’Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata has won the “Ettore Pancini” Prize for Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics, awarded by the Italian Physical Society (SIF) “for her contributions to experimental nuclear physics in the development and characterization of highly radiopure scintillating crystals, which led to new results on double beta decay in ¹⁰⁶Cd and ^94,96Zr.”
